- Worked for DDA providers Orange Grove Center, D&S Community Services, and Rosewood Supportive Living.
- 7 years of experience as COO of Burks Supportive Living, which is a State of Tennessee licensed Medicaid healthcare provider that services people with intellectual and development disabilities in East TN.
CEO/Nicole McFarland-Burks
- 25 years of experience in business management, marketing strategies and project management. Received Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Marketing from TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY
- 25 years of Business experience. Account Executive and Political Advertising Specialist at NBC Universal Comcast Spotlight, Account Executive-Marketing and Advertising at CBS Television Network WDEF-TV12, and Field Reporter and Production Assistant NBC Television Network WRCB-TV3
- 25 years of experience as Real Estate Investor and HUD home property developer (East, TN and Atlanta, GA)
- 7 years of experience as CEO of Burks Supportive Living, which is a State of Tennessee licensed Medicaid healthcare provider that services people with intellectual and development disabilities in East TN. Burks Supportive Living is also licensed by State of Tennessee Board for Licensing Health Care Facilities.
- 7 years of experience as Medicaid billing specialist for (HCBS) Managed Care Organization and TN DDA (HCBS) Medicaid waiver programs
Deputy Director/ Shana (Evans) Harrison
- 29 years in the healthcare and developmental disability services sector. Experienced and dedicated support coordinator and operations leader with over previous Deputy Director of Operations at ProLex Medical Services, Inc. Chattanooga, TN.
- Oversaw operations and managed over 100 staff and services for 150+ clients.
- Managed all financial aspects including payroll, billing, accounts payable, and receivables.
- Held roles of increasing responsibility including receptionist, office manager and financial officer.
- Led multi-departmental functions and strategic initiatives for company growth.
Director of Healthcare & Nursing Services/ Betty "Lexie" White (RN Nurse)
- 40 years’ experience Provide Nursing
- Previous President/CEO, ProLex Medical Services, Inc. 40 years’ experience Provide Nursing, Nutrition, Therapy, Psychiatric and Behavioral services for consumers housed in the community setting, Work closely with direct staff in quality care issues. Conduct nursing assessments; Establish regulatory, behavioral and health-related protocols for ID/DD and Mental Health Agencies; Conduct staff training; review health issues for agencies that have no nursing support; coordinate physician appointments; assist in writing QE and Licensure Plans of Corrections; develop systems of regulatory and health care compliance through review of Quality Assurance factors that lead to deficiencies, make recommendations to eliminate deficiencies.
- Pervious Director, Health Care Services, Orange Grove Center, Inc. Chattanooga, TN. Oversight and management of the Medical Department, to include supervision of 47 nurses, Physician, Nurse Practitioner, dentists and all ancillary staff. Responsible for regulatory compliance, writing Plans of Correction, budgetary requirements, practice management, and quality of care issues for 750+ mentally and physically challenged adult and elderly individuals. Served as liaison to State Health Care Coordinator in development of TN State policies/procedures. Conducted internal investigations regarding abuse, neglect and mistreatment. Member of Quality Assurance Team, Medical Advisory Board, Physical/Nutritional Management Advisory Board.
Program Manager/ Shannon Williams
- 20 years of experience working with individuals with ID/DD Disabilities
- 7 years Senior Program Manager at D&S Community Services. Duties included Monitored Quality control, billing and coding, Supervises the day-to-day business operations.
- 5 years Program Supervisor D& S Community Services Duties included Hired, managed, and trained over 100 staff, Ensured successful operation of business including labor cost control, class preparation and setup, Conducted orientation for new hire, implementing policy and procedures, Monitored Quality control, billing and coding, Instrumental in planning and executing innovative strategies to achieve objectives for infrastructure improvement: redefined scope of project and coordinated resources from D&S Community Services, Provided direct supervision for Home Managers and direct support staff, Works with placement tear to assure census is consistent, and ensures placements are appropriate, Assisted in hiring, evaluation and training process. Supervision of residents, Monthly safety inspections for homes and consumers, and Provider review completions.
- 3 years House Manager-Support Solutions Worked as a Home Manager for Consumers under DIDD diagnosed with Mental and intellectual Disabilities, Conducts daily operation of for consumers and staff, and Support Client using ISP/ BSP Plans, Goal tracking and Social/Assessment plan.
